Verkocht Schoolplaat met een afbeelding van een Zwaan. De schoolplaat is uitgegeven door Kemink en zoon uit Utrecht. Dit bedrijf bestaat al sinds 1760! Meneer Kemink gind naar Utrecht om hier het drukkersvak te leren en ook met de gedachte om in Utrecht voor zichzelf te beginnen. Vanaf rond 1760 waren zij gevestigd in Utrecht, vanaf 1790 de Schoutensteeg, vanaf 1816 op de Neude en in de Domstraat vanaf het jaar 1924.

Na vele jaren werd het in 1974 Broese Kemink, daarna werd het Selexyz , toen Polare en nu weer Broese. Nog steeds een van de grootste boekhandels van Nederland. De schoolplaat is vermoeden wij van rond 1920. De schoolplaat heeft wat waterschade maar ziet er nog mooi vintage en stoer uit. 

 

School plate with a swan image. The school record was issued by Kemink and son from Utrecht. This company has been in existence since 1760! Mr. Kemink went to Utrecht to learn the printing profession and also with the idea of starting for himself in Utrecht.

From around 1760 they were based in Utrecht, from 1790 the Schoutensteeg, from 1816 on the Neude and in the Domstraat from 1924.

 

After many years it became Broese Kemink in 1974, after which it became Selexyz, then Polare and now Broese again.

Still one of the largest bookstores in the Netherlands. The school plate is suspected from around 1920. The school board has some water damage but looks pretty vintage and great.
