Sold Mobach test paper machine model

Sold Paper machine head probably from Mobach. As a test model for Mobach plaques or does anyone else have an idea how and for what purpose they used it? We have had a ceramic plaque from Mobach before and this face looks very much like that. A special head of papier-mâché. The old head is in good condition. See the extra photos for this.
