Porcelain tableware, S.P.M. Walkure, dark green with gold edge
S.P.M. Walkure coffee set in dark green with a gold rim. In 1890 Siegfried Paul Meyer started working as a salesman at a ceramics factory and 6 years later he bought a glass company from a well-known glass and decoration painter Georg Bauer. This company was very successful and after that he also started his own porcelain factory in 1899. In a short time Siegfried already had 80 employees! He was also one of the first to ensure that his workers were not taken in and the dangerous paints and vapors released through the process of descriptions and baking even paid the workers the holidays in 1910. Progressive man! During the 1st World War it was difficult to obtain material, so production decreased.
In 2008, the company had become one of the top ten hotel porcelain suppliers on the world market! Nice that we have now been able to buy a coffee set. The coffee set consists of a coffee pot, sugar bowl, 2 milk jugs and 7 cups and saucers. The sugar bowl has a chip on the inside.
