A Japanese Daruma doll. The Japanese doll often consists of a wooden frame surrounded by a paper mache casing that you can paint yourself. This Japanese Daruma doll is handmade and hand painted. Special, this is the first Daruma doll that we see and encounter. Nice if you have been to Japan and collect stuff from Japan! The vintage Daruma doll has a kind of cat-human face, has a paper label on the bottom with Made in Japan and is in good condition. See also the additional photos. The special thing about the doll is, if a wish is expressed, you draw 1 pupil in one eye, if your wish comes true, you can also draw the second eye!
