From France this beautiful vintage Damoiseau biscuit tin in the color ocher. It depicts children running after the cookie jar where cookies are scattered. One image of the Bisquiterie de Montreuil van Damoiseau biscuit tin. The company was founded in 1901, when 22 people were allowed to move into a building where they baked cookies together. We suspect that this tin dates from around 1920-1930. Mets bisquits préférés is written on the side of the tin, my favorite cookies.
